Glacier National Park is located in the Rocky Mountains along the border between Canada and the US, with Montana on the American side and Alberta and British Columbia on the Canadian side. The park encompasses over 4,000 square kilometres and as the name implies it contains 25 active glaciers. Historically the park contained over 150 glaciers. We visited in the spring of 2018, when much of the park was still under snow.
