The images in these galleries are organised geographically and celebrate a sense of place. Both Gigi and Robin love being in the great outdoors; whether it’s the mountains of Patagonia, the windswept plains of Namibia, or the bucolic countryside of the English Lake District, they are at home making images of the landscape. They come from a background in strictly representational photography but with their place-based work they strive to use composition, lighting and mood to inspire in the viewer a sense of wonder in the natural world. These are not merely records of beautiful places; Gigi and Robin make images full of energy, engagement, emotion and interpretation. (Because they work closely together in the field all the place-based work is collaborative – but if you you would like to know which photographs are Gigi's or Robin's – just click on the copyright symbol at the bottom of each image).
