The island of Iceland sits on the Arctic Circle and is shaped by active volcanic activity, the wind, rain and snow. This is a landscape of immense power and beauty – truly the land of Fire and Ice. Characterised by black volcanic beaches, green mossy covered lava flows, turquoise rivers, huge cascading waterfalls and gigantic glaciers with ice caves it is a photographer's paradise. In summer the sun never sets, in winter there is only four hours of light – which seamlessly blends from sunrise to sunset. We have photographed Iceland in both seasons and hope you enjoy the galleries of photographs.
