Bulbarrow Hill
Immortalized in Hardy's poems he loved being on the top of the Dorset Downs where the air was "clear, bracing and ethereal". Bulbarrow is nearly 900 feet high and overlooks the Blackmore Vale or "Valley of the Little Dairies" in Hardy's Wessex.
