Hardy loved music and three generations of Hardy's played fiddle in the Choir at Stinsford Church. Thomas was given an accordion at the age of four and his father actively encouraged his musical interests. Hardy often accompanied his father on the fiddle at weddings, anniversaries and other festive dances.
